WELL DAWN by 2edged Pen

This poem is a reply I concocted to Mohan Singh’s poem – “Evening”. Please do enjoy…
WELL DAWN

From the stables o’ darkness

Springs the sun horse once more

His vermilion mane,  now a sunflower yellow

He has sidestepped the Evening

Parrying the arrow of her seductive caresses

Untamed, outraged

He knows he’ll stay

Until the Evening stands

At her shore unfazed

By his fiery snorting and panting

Beast to all

But pet to her

A servant to her call

He’ll answer from afar
