WHEN MY WORDS TOOK ME PLACES…by 2edged Pen

This was my first trip to Abuja, ever. I had been shortlisted for the Korean Nigerian Poetry Fiesta award and I made the long trip to Abuja for the event. It was held at the Korean Cultural Center Nigeria, Rivers house, Central Business District, Abuja.

Mind you I had never had my work publicly recognized prior  to this, and so it was exciting. I got to meet a lot of poets, writers and personalities-most notably Adam Abubakar (winner of NLNG Literary prize), whom I got an autograph from.

Receiving a consolation prize from Director of KCCN,  Han SunGrae
